We've all heard that eating right and exercising are great ways to improve our health. But what does eating right actually mean? For us, it's eating plenty of fresh fruits & veggies and avoiding unhealthy foods like these.
1. Frosting – Frosting is a red flag that something is unhealthy. Loaded with sugar itself, frosting often tops foods that are themselves filled with sugar and lacking in nutrients.
2. Deep Fried Foods – Oil is fat and while we need some healthy fat in our diet, deep fried foods are on the extreme. Aim to get your healthy fats from nuts, seeds, coconut, and avocados.
3. Mayonnaise – High in fat, cholesterol, calories, and sodium, mayo is simply made of oily eggs. Try spreading hummus, guacamole, or mustard on a sandwich instead.
