Ahh, Fall... the cooler weather (well, it's only 80 degrees here in Jacksonville, FL), leaves changing color (somewhere out there), and Pumpkin EVERYTHING! So move over Pumpkin Spice Latte, I've got six delicious new ways to use Pumpkin Pie Spice at home this season.
3. Pumpkin Spice Popcorn: Sprinkle pumpkin spice over warm popcorn and enjoy as a unique fall treat.
4. Pumpkin Spice Butternut Squash: Dice butternut squash and toss with a small amount of olive oil (a little goes a long way). Then sprinkle with pumpkin spice. Lay it out on a cookie sheet and roast in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, or until tender. It's delicious over a bed of quinoa or pasta.
5. Pumpkin Spice Coffee: Sprinkle the spice right into the coffee grounds before brewing, when the water flows through the spice the flavor will be infused right into the coffee :)
6. Pumpkin Spice Nog: Get fancy with your eggnog this holiday season and rim the glass with pumpkin spice! We like to use the store-bought soy milk kind (it's free from eggs and dairy) and add spiced rum, but feel free to use your favorite recipe or brand.
We're always coming up with creative new ways to use FreshJax products in our Jacksonville, FL kitchen and we LOVE sharing them with you!
