We put together a list of our top 5 things to do with your family this summer. Check out some of these fun ideas!
1. Go Blueberry Picking
Blueberry picking is a great way to get outdoors this summer. Most states have lots of blueberry farms that you can go picking at. Blueberries are also a superfood and can boost your memory. I just keep forgetting to eat them.
You can add all the blueberries you pick to this easy Oatmeal Recipe with FreshJax Maple Cinnamon.

2. Go To The Art Market
Art markets are an awesome way to embrace the culture of your city. You can try local cuisine, find aspiring artist, and interact with local vendors. Every art market is different so you will never know what you are going to find.
You can find FreshJax at the Riverside Arts Market every Saturday!
3. Try Kayaking
This may sound challenging to do with the family, but it can actually be super easy and fun. Lots of places will let you rent kayaks with multiple seats for a decent price. With kayaking, you can just paddle down the river, bring binoculars and check out the local wildlife, or bring some poles and go fishing if your kids are older. There's nothing like the freedom of being out on the water.
4. Have A Picnic
Picnics are the ideal setting for quality family time. You can go to a local park or just have one in your backyard. Either way, it is a great way to bond over some tasty food and the crisp summer air. Just keep an eye on your picnic basket; those ants are getting crafty.
Try this Potato Salad made with Freshjax Thai Coconut Curry at your next picnic.
5. Visit The Zoo or Local Wildlife Sanctuary
The zoo is a timeless summer activity. It's a great way to have fun with the kids and help them learn about animals and nature. I try to go every year because it is just so interesting and fun. Seeing those monkeys chase each other around never gets old.
So those are our top 5 activities to do with the family this summer. I hope that you guys give some of them a try. If you have any other ideas that you would like to share, feel free to reach out. You can get in touch with me at Robert@FreshJax.com. I would love to hear from you.
