Organic Smoked Chili Flakes

Also known as Capsicum Annuum, Chili Flakes offer a fresh, pungent, and spicy kick. Originating in Mexico, Chili or Chile Peppers (why does it have so many different names?!) have a lingering heat that is sure to add a spicy twist to any dish.

Use for pickling blends, chowder, spaghetti sauce, sausage, pizza sauce, stews, chicken, soups, tacos, and broccoli. Chili Flakes contain a small amount of Vitamin C, B6, and Vitamin E. It is because of the medical properties in capsicum that chili flakes may act as a pain killer and block inflammation. It could also act as an appetite suppressant.
