These crispy pork belly bites are tossed in FreshJax Hog Rub and baked until the fat is rendered and the edges are perfectly caramelized. Rich, salty, and sweet, they are the ideal BBQ "meat candy" snack or appetizer for any gathering.
Good to know: For extra crunch, place the bites on a wire cooling rack over your baking sheet. This allows hot air to circulate under the meat, crisping all sides simultaneously.
2 lb pork belly, cut into cubes
8 tbsp FreshJax Hog Rub
1 tbsp avocado oil (optional: peanut or grapeseed oil)
Toss pork belly cubes in oil and FreshJax Hog Rub.
Spread on a baking sheet.
Bake at 400°F for 50–60 minutes, flipping halfway.
Serve hot.
