These Garlic Pepper Pan-Seared Chicken Breasts rely on the high-impact flavor of Vampepper™ Garlic to transform a simple protein into a smoky, savory centerpiece. The high-heat sear locks in the moisture while the garlic and pepper caramelize against the heat of the pan. It’s versatile enough to be served alongside mashed potatoes, sliced over pasta, or eaten straight out of the pan.
Good to Know: To get an even cook on chicken breasts, which are naturally thicker on one end, gently pound them to an even thickness (about 1/2 inch) using a meat mallet or a heavy skillet before seasoning. This ensures the entire piece of meat finishes cooking at the exact same time.
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tsp VamPepper® Garlic Pepper Seasoning (or more to your heart’s desire!)
1 tbsp olive oil
Pat chicken dry. Rub with oil and VamPepper® Garlic Pepper seasoning.
Heat skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 5–6 min per side until cooked through (165°F).
Rest 5 minutes before slicing.
