This is the best vegan steak recipe by our friend Ornella Lazich. It is made with Lion's Mane Mushroom! Which is famous for its medicinal qualities but it is also a gastronomic delight. Its flavor has been likened to lobster, but when we’re done with it, it won’t be fishy at all.

Lion’s Mane Mushrooms
Water
FreshJax Shichimi Togarashi
Red Chili Flakes (optional)
Minced Garlic
Slice your Lion's Mane in steak slices.
Add few Tbsp of water in a ceramic non stick pan
Sauté for a few min and flip midway.
Don't let the water be completely gone as they will brown and become bitter.
Bake at 375 F for a few more minutes to seal the flavor.
Remove from.the oven and serve with minced garlic.
To keep your steak juicy and tender, you want an even sear and seal. You can accomplish this by not moving or turning the shroom until halfway through cooking time.
The seasoning brings out the flavor and I preffer FreshJax Organic Shichimi Togarashi for this particular recipe.
