I really liked the flavour profile of this one...I used it in eggs rice ground beef and some bean and ham soup as well as just black beans. I liked the hammy flavour and would have bought it even if the hammy flavour was from an actual animal as we are not vegans...when trying to find something that imparts a ham flavour, the grocery shelves are lined with chemicals and MSG flavour inhancer and I was sooo glad to find a Christian run company that sold organic herbs and spices and blends and also gave back. My favourite items i bought were the 3 salts: cherrywood salt, Campfire salt, and this one...our family cannot have spicy foods and none of these salts irritated any of us. I hope they keep making these salt blends that don't have horrible chemical ingredients!

I love the fact that this is an American-owned small business and that they care about ORGANIC food! Not only that, but they use part of their proceeds to help others. What's not to like? The cherrywood smoked salt is my personal favorite, but this new bacon salt is an absolute hit with the guys in my family and friend group! Great idea! Great taste!

Pan fried potatoes and scrambled “just egg” wrapped in a tortilla and sprinkled with happy hamlet and it tasted just like a good ol bacon egg and potato breakfast taco of my pre plant based life. We’re very pleased with the fresh Jax products we have which included the full pantry sample set many of which we have reordered in the full size as the sample sizes have run out.
